How many porta potties do you need?
Plan one standard porta potty per 50 guests for an event up to 4 hours. Use one per 40 guests for 5 to 8 hours. Add 1 unit for every 4 when alcohol is served. A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 5 units, with 1 wheelchair-accessible.
Construction sites follow OSHA instead: one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then one seat and one urinal per 40 workers. The porta potty sizing guide has the full guest and crew tables.

Porta potty rental questions, answered
How much does a porta potty rental cost in Columbus?
A standard porta potty for a one-day Columbus event starts at $175, including delivery, pickup, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. A monthly job site unit starts at $165 per 28-day cycle with weekly service. Deluxe and wheelchair-accessible units, trailers and addresses past 25 miles cost more. See the full pricing guide.
Can you deliver a porta potty today?
Same-day delivery is available across Columbus when you call (614) 295-9744 by noon, Monday through Saturday, and a truck is open. A same-day fee may apply, and you hear the amount before you book. Calls after noon usually get next-morning delivery. More on same-day porta potty rental.
Do I pay for the whole weekend if I only need the unit for one day?
Event rentals are a flat price, not a daily rate. A Saturday party unit is usually dropped Friday or Saturday morning and picked up Monday. Those extra hours cost nothing more. The unit simply sits ready so it is there before your first guest arrives.
Do you deliver or pick up on Sunday?
Trucks do not run on Sunday. Sunday events get a Friday or Saturday drop-off and a Monday pickup at no extra rental charge. Saturday delivery is available, so most weekend parties are covered with a Saturday-morning drop.
Is cleaning included with a porta potty rental?
Every unit arrives cleaned, deodorized and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Rentals longer than one week include weekly service: pumping the tank, cleaning and disinfecting, and restocking. Busy job sites or long events can add extra service visits for a set fee.
Do I need to be home when the porta potty is delivered?
Nobody needs to be home for delivery or pickup. Mark the spot with a cone, chalk or a note, and text a photo if the spot is hard to describe. Share gate codes and point out low wires, septic lids or soft ground when you book.
Will a porta potty fit through my backyard gate?
A standard porta potty is about 44 inches wide, so a 4-foot gate usually works. The driver moves units on a dolly, so the path needs to be firm and fairly level. Wheelchair-accessible units are about 7.5 feet wide and need a driveway or wide opening.
Does a porta potty need water or electricity?
Standard, deluxe and wheelchair-accessible units need no water or power. Deluxe units arrive with fresh water already in the sink tank. Restroom trailers are different: a trailer needs a garden hose within about 75 feet and a standard 110-volt outlet, or a water tank add-on.
Can I lock the porta potty before my event?
A lock is free on request. Many party hosts lock the unit until guests arrive so neighbors or passersby cannot use it. Job sites often lock units overnight. Tell us when you book and the driver leaves the unit secured with the key or code.
How do I end a monthly porta potty rental?
Call or text (614) 295-9744 at least one business day before you want the unit gone. Monthly rentals renew every 28 days until you ask for pickup. Billing stops with the cycle that is running when the unit is picked up.
What do you need from me to give a quote?
A quote needs six things: the delivery ZIP or address, the dates, the unit type, how many units, the guest count or crew size, and a phone number. With those details the quote takes about five minutes on the phone.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Payment is by card when you book, and you get an emailed receipt. Cancel at least 24 hours before delivery for a full refund. Plans change, so you can also move the date by calling us. Details are in the rental terms.
